Toe Tapping Times

The Valley is resplendent with music this summer. Nearly every day of the week, the local singers, guitarists, bassist, drummers, and occasional harmonicists deliver amazing performances. Look below for a list of weekly events for you and your sweetie. Remember to get up and dance if the spirit moves you! (For information on special events, see last month’s blog post on arts events.)

• On Sundays and Tuesdays, Lawsons Brewery hosts live music. Grab a beer (new brew Lupulin Gumbo is a favorite) and enjoy a free concert.

• Also on Tuesdays, enjoy Mount Ellen. Head to the big back deck outdoors in the sun or the Green Mountain Lounge indoors in the rain for music, beverages and food.

• On Wednesdays, check out the “new Round-Up” on the Mad River Green (site of the weekly Farmer’s Market). There are food trucks, music and plenty of space for families and friends.

• Stark’s Pub at Mad River Glen has music multiple days a week. Check out their schedule to see who’s playing and sit inside the pub or outside on the deck. Plenty of food and beverages are available.

• Friday nights, head to Hogan’s Pub for music on the deck overlooking the golf course
