MRV Dog Park Taking Shape

While the Mad River Valley Dog Park is not yet officially open, don’t tell that to the many pooches frolicking there on a sunny Labor Day weekend.

The area is completely fenced so pups can romp freely, and the wheelchair-accessible welcome center provides a bit of shade, dog toys, poop bags and scoopers, and a bench for dog owners to gather and rest.

Watch for new park elements coming soon: thank you signs honoring the many park donors, new trees, and an additional shade structure.

Note that there are water bowls at the park but no water source.

There will be a grand opening celebration for the entire community sometime this fall. 

The Mad River Valley Dog Park is on the grounds of Warren Elementary School in Warren, opposite the solar panels.
