Welcome Madbush Falls

When a new lodge opens in a tourist town, it’s something to celebrate. When that lodge includes a restaurant open 7-days/week (a rarity in the Mad River Valley), a mix of traditional rooms and glamping sites, a bike and repair shop, and a gear-exchange library, then it may be time to throw the developer, Jonny Adler, a parade.

Billing itself as “a place to ride, eat, and stay,” the 20-acre Madbush Falls is at the heart of an extensive network of mountain biking trails that crisscross the Mad River Valley. Rent, purchase, or tune-up your equipment at Riders Outpost—the onsite gear shop, and then head out for your adventure, smug in the knowledge that, upon your return, you’ll be able to cool off with a dunk in the swimming hole at the back of the property and an ice-cold beverage from the bar. Should you work up an appetite from the day’s exertion, the 54-seat restaurant is just steps away. Peruse Chef Travis Daniell’s delicious, Mad River Romance-vetted and approved menu offerings here.

Adler hopes Madbush Falls will be a gathering place for adventurers of all levels—from seasoned mountain bikers and skiers to those just starting out in the sports. Madbush Falls is a playground where all belong. Go and see for yourself.
