Children’s Book Bonanza!

Inklings Children’s Books, the Mad River Valley’s very own children’s bookstore, is set to open at the Mad River Green Shops in Waitsfield on October 14, 2023!

Owners Brian Wray and Nicole Angel, long-time part-timers in the Valley, recently made the Valley their full-time home. Brooklyn’s loss is the Valley’s gain, as the two have created a warm and whimsical space sure to entice all those young in age and young at heart.

In addition to books geared to children ages 4-16, the store will have cozy spaces for story time, a craft area, and a welcoming vibe sure to encourage families to come and browse for a while.

Brian is a children’s book author, so he knows a thing or two about what kids like to read. He is now working on his 6th book. Each of his books addresses the mental and emotional health of kids four- to eight-years-old.
