Sauna Enthusiasts–Rejoice!

Things are heating up at Madbush Falls. The wellness enthusiasts at Savu have brought their luxury, state-of-the-art saunas to Madbush Falls Riders Outpost, located on Route 100 in Waitsfield. Two commercial, Wi-Fi-enabled saunas are now in place, perfectly situated to make the most of the view of the epic waterfall that runs behind the property, giving sauna enthusiasts access to the perfect yin and yang of heat immersion followed by cold plunge in the river.

 The recommended ritual is to spend 10 to 15 minutes sitting quietly in the 180° sauna, stilling your body and mind, and letting the heat permeate deep into your muscles. Then, plunge into the icy swimming hole below the Madbush waterfall for one to two minutes. That may not seem like much time, but this water is cold! Repeat the process, taking breaks as your body dictates. 

Saunas are available to rent by the hour. Current pricing is $56 for a one-hour sauna session for two. Book here. Or come to community sauna night from 5:30-6:30 pm every Monday evening: $25 per person, with up to six people per sauna. Bring your friends, water, and your own towel.
