Cocktail Gems

Many things in our Valley seem to require an adventurous spirit, a desire to peek around corners, explore beyond the front door. Deco Bar is one of these shiny gems hiding in plain sight. You might not imagine that a fabulous cocktail bar is located within the local hostel, but I can assure you that it is.

Deco Bar is powered by Justin and a team of creative cocktail savants. (Full disclosure: I may have sampled more than one of the offerings.) Sometimes the creations align with world happenings, like Charles’ pink martini for the Royal Coronation. Or sample a fabulous classic, such as “The Ford,” a favorite of mine. The beer list is fabulously extensive for those who want a bottle or draught. And the small but tasty menu can be counted on to fill you up.

Deco Bar is located at Hostel Tevere, on Route 100, near the bottom of the Sugarbush access road. The hours vary with the seasons, so check the website before you go.
